The Enzo Update!
Well Enzo has hit his terrible 2's.....a little early as he won't be 2 until next year! He is just so advanced..hahahahaha! Training is going well, although he likes to ask alot of questions. I have learned to be quick with my response and firm with my answers. Enzo is also very excited that we have enlarged our pasture with 2 more acres of grass! He really likes to play and the other horses just ignore him...its like he has no friends at school. :(....so he waits for the dogs to come out and chases them all over the place until they get tired and run under the fence to rest. In the next month or so we will start letting him wear his bridle in his stall complete with a bit so he can get used to having something in his mouth other then the lead rope...his fly mask...his bucket...or a brush! I do promise to post pictures soon.....if I only had one more hand I could take some of him while he practices his new lunging skills! I am not sure why God didn't give all horse people an extra limb!

I can not believe how time fly's and how fast Enzo is growing! He is now officially a yearling, although we do not know his exact birthday we celebrated on April 1st! We decided that he is going to fool everyone and be the first Nurse Mare foal to be in the Olympics!! I hope to post pictures from the celebration soon, party hats for all...I must say they enjoyed the carrot cake more than the hats and my singing!
We have started his ground training and he is a Star Student. He is so smart that you only need to show him something once or twice and he has added this to his tool box and is ready to move on. He has fantastic ground manners and we are exposing him to anything and everything. This weekend we will pony him along on a trail ride with the dogs. I will keep you posted on his progress.
Enzo also gives hugs....he actually will wrap his head and neck right around you and hug you while you are brushing him. He is so special, we can not imagine life without this little comedian.
